Roadmap to Harmonising District
Cooling and HVAC Contributions

EVENT OVERVIEW

Following the success and positive outcomes of the inaugural edition of MENA District Cooling Projects, the upgraded edition, MENA Cool will be held from 11 – 12 September 2023 in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The selection strategy of district cooling and conventional cooling (HVAC) is a never-ending debate. At this forum we will have more meaningful conversations on the new developments, policies, project reviews, innovations and technologies, regional updates, and decarbonisation efforts bringing in a wider and more diverse set of audience from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

The MENA region plays a key role in curbing climate change and supporting the global efforts to reduce carbon emissions. The industrialisation and urbanisation in the region are leading to the rapid growth of industrial, commercial and residential buildings. Along with this, the region is witnessing an increased awareness and demand for energy-efficient cooling systems due to the recent policy developments and Net Zero targets.

Considering these developments, MENA Cool will gather all the region’s key district and conventional cooling (HVAC) stakeholders to discuss and harmonise crucial areas including modernisation, digital transformation, upcoming projects, regulations, energy-water nexus, and the latest in joint ventures and partnerships.
